Avatar (24th Sep)

This week week we were tasked with creating an avatar with objects that we had lying about or that had meaning to us.

For my design I decided to make something funny, creating a face being covered by a mask. The images used do have meaning to me though. First of all the weight disks for he eyes, I take my health very seriously and now view fitness/making sure I go to the gym, as a daily part of my life (something I have to do), this is mainly due that working out is very therapeutic and I always feel way better after working out.

Secondly is the penknife (used for the nose on the avatar) this was a gift for my birthday a couple of years ago and is just something that always seems to come in handy, whether for opening up boxes or opening a beer it is something that I always carry around with me. And last of all is the rosemary beads which I have used for the mouth of the avatar. I am not a religious person but there is something quite spiritual about the fact that I got these from one of the holiest places on earth the Vatican and feel like it’s quite a unique item to have for that reason (also I think they look really cool).
