Group Project scheduling (02nd Feb)

This first week we’ve just been dedicating roles for each member of the team, mainly based off of the specialism that each member wants to peruse. Me and another member of the team will be taking on the level designer role, this will be good experience for me to be working with another level designer as this will allow for me to bounce ideas off of another person. Also this week we have concreted the idea of the game that we want to make, we’ll be making an online game that focuses on psychological warfare, much like game like Among us [1] and The Trouble in Terrorist Town which is a mod for Garry’s Mod [2]. Outside of this we’ve just been setting up the repository and planning for when our scrum meetings will be.

Basic concept of the game (so far):
The game will be about having multiple players in a game in which one of them (or more) will be trying to kill the others, using psychological tactics it will be up to the traitors to kill the whole of the team before they get figured out. The way we’re deviating from games like among us, is that players will have leveling systems that allows them to access different parts of the ship as well as all the characters in the game will have different abilities (which are to be discussed), we are also medaling with the idea of the players having lives/clones so once they die they will respawn but as a new clone ( each player will have a set number of clones before dying for good) when the player starts as a new clone they will have different abilities and could spawn as a traitor as well.
