I have looked at and played all the other games produced by people on my course and was very impressed with what a lot of people managed to do in the time that they were given. Was particularly impressed with the game. Theseus which was a game about a solider explore the minataurs lair and had the minataur chasing the player. Thought this was a very well thought out game with amazing visuals and a good take on the idea of a text based game, with the movement being based off of the player typing in movement commands. The only issue I had with the game was the fact that commands were ‘Northwards 1’ this soon got to be very annoying as it was a lot to type in just to move forward by one block. I would have also have liked a mini-map to view where the player was or had been (very easy to get lost). Overall though I loved this game and if there was a mini-map to help me monitor my progress would easily have played this game in my spare time to try and beat it.

Overall seeing the overall quality of the games released made really set the standard for what my future work should look like.
