After talking with my tutor today we discussed potential ways to make the game more unique and set it apart from the typical arcade crosshair shooters. We discussed the possibility of adding in a system where the player would have to shoot specific parts of the enemies in order to kill them, as my enemies were flies we came to conclusion that the player should shoot the wings off of the flies in order to kill them. This feature was quite easy to add to the game. all I had to do was simply make the wings of the flies the thing the player had to shoot and the body of the flies would be a child of the wing, so once the wing was disactivated this would also disactivate the body of the fly.
I have also been looking into using Fungus which was a feature that I wanted to experiment with. This was quite a simple tool to use and added to the arcadey style that I was going for.
