I to make my meme shooter idea and after a consultation with my tutor have a couple more ideas in how I am going to expand the concept. I have added into the game already theme of good and bad memes (toxic and non- toxic), this ties into the theme of ‘Meme’ nicely as not only are you shooting internet memes but there is also the concept that you’re only shooting toxic memes and that some memes can encourage toxic behavior. I have decided that the enemies in the game should be Pepe [1] memes as this particular meme has turned into encouragement for far right behavior (things like white supremacy), so the idea in that you are shooting these negative/toxic memes. On the other hand there will also be innocent memes such as Good guy Greg [2] which is just a funny internet meme with no toxicity to it (thus innocent meme).
