I think this prototype has been a huge step in the right direction for me as both a games designer and level designer, introducing me to new techniques and approaches that have really helped me to produce a higher quality of work and approach my work in a more professional manner. I think the game creates the atmosphere that I wanted to create and the feeling that I wanted to create. I love how the game plays and think it works as a great piece for my portfolio to really show off the professional techniques I have started to incorporate into my work and to show my development as a level designer and games designer. There are some improvements I would have liked to have made to this prototype, in particularly there are some areas of the map that course the player model to go into ‘Y-posing’, this issue occured at the very end of the design process not even occurring during the block stage or the multiple testing stages afterwards, I ran out of time to find the source of the issue and it would definitely be at the top of my priorities list if my time was given. Asides from this, I would just polish up the game more, polishing the music, the environment and some mechanics. This being said I am really happy with this piece and really think it shows my progression through this module and how I have used the skills learnt from the previous prototype to produce this work.
